I had seen the advertisement linked above, and loved it’s 50′s style, and decided to emulate/copy it for the site.  Let me know what you think!

I wanted to build a site quickly, with a clean, simple design. I’ve used WordPress quite a bit in the past few years, and new it would be a solid platform for what I wanted.  With no need to reinvent the wheel, I went looking for a clean, simple blog design to use as a platform for this site, and found nearly exactly what I wanted with the “Sideblog” theme from  Press75.com, and set about customizing it to get just as I wanted.  Although I did change the look of the site, Jason Schuller of  theSevenFive.com and Press75.com did all the hard work on making a slick functional theme, with a clean look and a great layout.  The moment I saw it, I knew it would be awesome to build this site with.
